Sometimes science fiction is so outlandish, so alien, it just ends up coming across as really silly... this is one of those times. Mila Kunis seems bored and wooden, Channing Tatum looks ridiculous with a beached blond beard and glued on dog ears. Its basically just Cinderella with space ships. Honestly the movie really is just a big pile of steaming poop. Channing Tatum recently went on record as saying he thought G.I.Joe was the worst movie he ever made... He was wrong. Rent this disaster if you want to bare witness to the worst movie he ever made... and of Mila Kunis, well I'm not even sure she can even act? It just seems like she is the SAME person with a different name in almost every role she accepts. Its lucky she has a bit of cash now, because if she keeps turning in movies like this, she may run out of jobs real quick. Put some money in the bank Mila, those looks aint going to last...

Hopeless storyline, lack lustre acting although perhaps the storyline was so implausible that the actors struggled, or in Mila Kunis' case perhaps having a male lead who is prettier than she is threw her off her acting game? Sad when the best acting comes from a former stripper in the part of a military-type hero. Ah well, the super effects, and eye-candy Channing Tatum played his role well. So three stars.

Visually it was good. No one can deny that. The story was pretty layered but overall quite good. The movie itself, not so much. There were too many layers in the movie to pull it off right. It made it feel rushed, and started by being thrown into a plot that you have to pick up along the way, some of the strangeness of it anyway. The trailers made it look better
