Frontier vigilante Old Surehand (Stewart Granger) and his Apache warrior partner, Winnetou (Pierre Brice), clash repeatedly with the Vultures, a gang of ruthless outlaws who disguise themselves as Shoshone Indians when committing crimes. Surehand and Winnetou offer protection to Annie (Elke Sommer), who is carrying a valuable stash of diamonds -- but she's kidnapped when her loot attracts the Vultures. After the Shoshone are accused of the abduction, Surehand and Winnetou must sort out the mess.
