Darkon is a theatrical documentary that explores a community of Live Action Role Players whose real lives and fantasy lives collide in a series of war games that involve medieval re-enactment, role playing, and full contact combat.

This documentary is a good look at the psychology of players and the goals that LARP systems have at developing a very fluid like story. I found it interesting, being a new to LARP, mostly for the drama that bled through from the game to real life. Again, this not meant for all on viewer standpoint. It is placed in a very small niche activity that is widely not accepted by the American public as it is in Europe. I hope more movies like this are made to create a more realistic and positive view on LARP.
