About this movie

Six teenagers choose an old, abandoned asylum as the venue for their sex and drug-fuelled party of a lifetime. Once a brutal and controversial establishment for the criminally insane, the group ignore rumours that the derelict walls of the asylum still house the spirits of its tormented victims. After their party dies down, the group begin a series of increasingly daring games and it’s not long before they raise the stakes and attempt to summon the spirits left behind from the abusive asylum regime. However, their daring game quickly has them fighting for their lives as a furious spirit infiltrates the group, wreaking havoc as it moves from one body to the next. Directed by Marcus Nispel (Friday the 13th, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre) and starring Stephen Lang (Avatar) and Kelly Blatz (From Within), The Asylum is a gore-filled supernatural thrill-ride.

Movie is great, but thanks to google player, I couldn't watch it. I paid for rental HD option, and it showed me errors for 10 mins all the time I refreshed. So to not waste my time, I had to download that movie from somewhere else. Nice :)

It was a horror with a few scary moments. We had some cliché story lines, predictable events and an abrupt ending. I thought the characters were stereotypical as well. Worth watching but not if something better is on offer.

Genuinely first rate. Firstly, it's not a cheap film. And/or a found footage film. Well acted, pretty neat and well delivered story. Fun to watch. It's _honestly_ a really good, well made horror flick. If you're rummaging through Google Play looking for something to good watch, and you like a horror movie, this is it.
