About this movie

Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War finds Steve Rogers leading the newly formed team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. But after another incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability, headed by a governing body to oversee and direct the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers, resulting in two camps—one led by Steve Rogers and his desire for the Avengers to remain free to defend humanity without government interference, and the other following Tony Stark’s surprising decision to support government oversight and accountability.

Too many chatacters competing for screen time. The Vision rather conveniently looses the will to fight and basically hides like a coward instead of stopping the fight altogether, which kinda didn’t help make the story believable. Spiderman reboot was awesome. Some scenes great but others lacked any tension in a fairly predictable movie. Interesting that audiences also seem to choose sides in the movie. Definitely worth watching but it won't make many peoples top 10 list.

This is no Winter Soldier. Think all the other films in the series with more heroes in. Tries to develop a good reason for the heroes to go at it but it is rather shallow and frustrating, making (me at least), side with Cap and think all of those on Iron-Man's side short sighted and annoying. Go with the Other Superhero smack down instead, I personally thought it far superior as both a big time comic fan and a movie - goer.

Unless you are really interested in the Marvel universe I found this film to be disappointing. Same old Marvel tropes, little storyline interest, marginal humour, silly and unfathomable charter motivations. Some passable fight scenes do not a good film make. Unless there is some sort of collective hysteria at work, I can't understand why this film was so well received. To be honest I thought Batman V Superman was actually a bit more enjoyable despite getting panned.
