Larry Daley (Ben Stiller), a new security guard at The Museum of Natural History, soon discovers that when the lights go out, the gallery becomes an epic battleground fueled with non-stop action and adventure!
Three fun-filled adventures come alive in one epic collection! In Night at the Museum, a museum guard learns an amazing secret about the exhibits. Then in Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian, Larry goes up against museum misfits who plan to take over the world. And in Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb, Larry leads his friends on a quest to save the magic that brings them to life!
What a dull, nice movie, wrenched from a wild premise and battered into docility.
A film that veers, often without much direction, between a family-friendly comic romp and an attempt to touch our souls with heartfelt emotion.
As mindless spectacle, this is reasonably entertaining.
Stiller's continued efforts to court the broadest possible audience has taken the edge off his comedy.
... an aimless and riotous mess.
It's just so dopey.
What a dull, nice movie, wrenched from a wild premise and battered into docility.
The worst but still ok This movie is the least entertaining in a fun movie series. Back to the Future II comes to mind. However, it is still fun to watch Ben Stiller and Robin Williams act together on-screen. Also, Owen Wilson does pretty well as mini cowboy jedidiah, who has a very dumb rivalry with the Roman general. That actor does very well also, though I can't remember his name. Unfortunately, the movie is very downbeat and takes itself very seriously. There aren't as many laughs as in the next two installments, but good.
Frustrated. Time sks & so does the way these companies operate. For being with so long I can do NOTHING but what they allow. How about when things change you let folks know. You can push aps and read people's phones....why not something helpful to THE CUSTOMERS WHO KEEP YOU ALL IN A JOB!!!
This film is one of the greatest parts of my childhood! Now it's 10 going on 11 years old this year and it's still funny and heartwarming. Robin Williams did a great job as president Teddy Roosevelt. It's too bad he committed suicide by hanging himself. Dick Van Dyke also did a good job. So did Ben Stiller. Awesome movie! I absolutely recommend this movie for the family to watch.

This is one of my favorite childhood movies of all time, I saw it when I was 9 years old. I didn't see it in the theatres, I saw it on DVD. I love everything about this movie: it can be pretty funny at times, the CGI effects are pretty good, Alan Silvestri's musical score is incredible, dramatic, & wonderous, I love the animals especially rexy the t-Rex skeleton, & The cast acting in this film is so life like too. It is definitely a great family film.
