About this movie

Octavia Spencer joins a celebrated cast in this wonderfully moving film. Frank Adler, a single man (Chris Evans), is dedicated to raising his spirited young niece Mary (Mckenna Grace), a child prodigy. But Frank and Mary’s happy life together is threatened when Mary’s mathematical abilities come to the attention of her grandmother (Lindsay Duncan) – who has other plans for her granddaughter.

Captain America saves the day ~ and the cat! This is fantastic, feel good stuff: The real test of any movie for me is how it makes me feel, and this made me FEEL. I laughed, I cried... Everyone was superb, especially the kid. And of course, I'm digging the different kinds of strong, smart females depicted here. The screenwriting, the cinematography, the music all blend magnificently. I'd give it 5★ except that I don't usually do movies like this: The Avengers get 5★, all the Cap movies get 5★, so a 4★ for this kind of flick is perfectly respectable. I'm totally buying it to enjoy again later. GREAT STUFF.

Loved it, (appart from a couple of unnecessary swearwords that spoil it - as usual) a touching movie with amazing performances that can bring a grown man to cry like a baby...

Teary laugh out loud fun.... I watchd this whilst recovering from a stomach bug laid on sofa under blanket wi fire lit....pure bliss made the bug go....life is good...
