I wanted to punch everyone in this movie in the face: The main characters, all the extras, paw-paw, and I guess shirt-shirt as well. At times I was confused as to who was the male/female main character, as they had same haircut and body frame. From watching the trailer I had somewhat higher expectations, things could have been more interesting, but they just drag on, and on, and on. I vision Miranda July and Hamish Linklater working at Starbucks, not in theatrics.

It's a movie about a couple who really has never had any responsibility. When they decide to adopt this cat, they really put they're lives into prospective and try to do the things they want to do before they have to adopt this cat (that is really a alternative to having a kid). The movie is narrarated by cat, but its a much easier movie to understand if you understand that the cat is a metaphor for their relationship. The only thing i didn't like was how they sometimes acted awkward just to be awkward.

Not for everyone, but for those individuals it's for, it's great. If you connect with skewed, atypical depictions of life and living, expect to be deeply moved by this film's fantastical but resonant depiction of love, confusion, hope/hopelessness, and loss.
