Ratings and reviews

One of the best Harry Potter films of them all! Chris Columbus and Steve Kloves took a much darker book than the first and did a good job of preserving that in the film, while still keeping it light enough so that if one were considering the films on their own, the transition from Philospher's/Sorcerer's Stone to this one is not too shocking. The plot, which is taken from my favorite Potter book, is interesting and original, albeit a tad slower and more dragged out than the first, carrying a powerful message about the evils of bigotry and racism. The acting is great, too! Sir Kenneth Branagh's performance as Gilderoy Lockhart and Tom Felton's performance as Draco Malfoy are particularly notable. And John Williams' score is powerful and haunting as ever. This is the only Potter film that I did not see in theaters (because I was afraid of seeing the spiders), and I regret it. While it remains one of the scariest Potter films, it is also one of the most interesting. It also served as a great "immersion" therapy tool for curing me of my arachnophobia! Among the Potter films, I can't recommend this one any higher. One of the best.

So my real names Natalie Fish and I'm 11 and am obsessed with Harry Potter about Harry Potter 2 I thought it was great but probobly the least great :( some people think its terrible but if would try to read the books you would get it and might actually change your mind (I think the actor playing tom riddle is really cute, that's girl talk for handsome) some people don't understand that tom riddle set the baskelisk on moaning myrtle cause she was muggle born (muggle means human in wizard talk )

I love all my Harry Potter movies, but now that they are closing this app, I am unable to watch it on Youtube movies. It is saying I have to purchase this AGAIN! I have already bought this, so I shouldn't have to pay again to have the movie I already own! Google fix this or give me my money back for this movie and I'll purchase it again. smh
