Can you imagine celebrating Christmas every day? That's every child's dream, right? Wrong. Unfortunately for Pete (Zachary Gordon, Diary of a Wimpy Kid), he finds himself faced with exactly that prospect. Often overlooked in favour of his brothers' larger-than-life personalities, middle child Pete feels left out and ignored. When his grieving grandfather (Bruce Dern, Nebraska) arrives, the family comes together to make it the best Christmas yet. Christmas morning and no presents, the day gets off to a bad start, and just gets worse. After a day of exploding plug sockets, an embarrassing fall and a family argument, Boxing Day can't come soon enough for Pete! He awakes the next morning, only to quickly realise it's Christmas all over again! After lots more Christmas mornings, he realises he can take advantage of this nightmare, it's every child's dream after all. With the help of his friend (Bailee Madison), he works out how he can use this curse for good and give his family the Christmas they deserve.
