In a distant land, the sun and moon are held in place by two special caretakers, the Guardian of the Sun and the Guardian of the Moon. During the ceremony to select the next two guardians, a timid faun named Mune is unexpectedly granted the title of Guardian of the Moon. Mune is woefully unprepared to handle such an important duty and soon causes a mishap that threatens the balance of night and day. Meanwhile, the disgraced guardian Necross seizes the opportunity to exact revenge by stealing the sun. Desperate to make things right, Mune embarks on a quest to rescue the sun with the help of a girl named Glim and the new Guardian of the Sun, Sohone. - ( Original Title - Mune: Guardian of the Moon )

I don't know how this movie got made. Simply one of the worst kids movies I have ever endured. I trusted the 4.9 google peeps had supposedly given this movie and the 80% on rotten tomatoes. The characters and story line were both thin and shallow. I seriously have underestimated how deplorably low we could go with kids movies.

This movie was visually stunning, had a totally unique concept and the voice acting was perfect. This movie should be watched by every child and aspiring animator/story teller to learn from. Loved this beautiful movie from start to finish and can't understand why more people haven't watched this brilliant visual feast. If you love animated children's movies, this is going to be one you will want to watch. I am now going to buy this for my blu-ray collection. Please watch this movie. If this movie had of come out here in Australia at the movies, I would have been there in a heart beat. Loved it!

Great movie!!! But a bit scary for younger audiences but I loved it recommend (:
