Cornel Wilde is Man, the great white hunter whose safari is wiped out by angry tribesmen. Impressed with his bravery, they give him a "lion's chance" to save his life. He is stripped of clothes, weapons and given a head start. Then for four days and nights he struggles to survive with the village's best lion killers in close pursuit. But can he keep a few seconds distance between himself and pursuers' spears?

I saw this when I was in my teens and never forgot it! I got it on DVD and I have to say it is one of my favorite movies of all time! It proves a movie can tell an engrossing story with almost no dialogue. No cursing, no sex, no CGI, just action!

Saw this in the 70's and I never forgot it. Still just as good today. I'm so happy to have found it here to rent!!

Timeless! Very underrated film, from a unique actor and director! Watch him in BEACH RED, also!
