About this movie

Two years have passed, and the mild-mannered Peter Parker faces new challenges as he struggles with "the gift and the curse," desperately trying to balance his dual identities as the web-slinging superhero Spider-Man and his life as a college student. Tormented by his secrets, Peter finds that his relationships with all those he holds dear are in danger of unraveling. His life-long yearning for M.J. (Kirsten Dunst) becomes even stronger as he fights the impulse to reveal his secret life and declare his love. His friendship with Harry Osborn (James Franco) is complicated by the young Osborn's bitterness over his father's death and his growing vendetta against Spider-Man. Even Peter's beloved Aunt May (Rosemary Harris), who has fallen on hard times after the death of Uncle Ben, begins to have doubts about her nephew.

To this day no Spider-man film has managed to capture the essence of Spider-man more than this. It focuses on the source material unlike the new disney Spider boy film's that focuses on race bending characters & changing their traits to appease to social justice warriors. This films soundtrack, cinematography, storyline, villain, epic scale fight scenes, emotionally engagement, superb CGI and the eery style of Sam Raimi makes this one of the most epic Super hero movies ever.

Movie Review: Yeh, it's really good, kind of a classic actually. A huge improvement over the first film, and has one of my new favourite movie villians, Dr. Octopus (the Hospital scene is so nightmarish for a PG movie.) The cast is a lot better in this, as is the suprisingly neat CGI, and the few action scenes are fantastic, and so is the music. If I do have some gripes I would say that Peter and Mary Jane's romance is pretty bad, and it does get a bit corny at times, but it's still great.
