About this movie

The story revolves around a dying father (played by Finney, and McGregor as a young man) and his son (Crudup). Trying to learn more about his dad by piecing together the stories he has gathered over the years, the son winds up re-creating his father's elusive life in a series of legends and myths inspired by the few facts he knows. Through these tales, the son begins to understand his father's great feats and his great failings. (c) 2003 Columbia Pictures Industries , Inc. All Rights Reserved.

A true trip down a man's life to uncover the truth about the storyteller's heart. From the motive of heaven being destroyed by capitalism, to the soul of the storyteller being passed down the generations, this movie amazes with the depth of the motives it shows us. Worth watching.

Tim Buton's Big Fish is a dramatic fantasy, with great performances and a strange, yet heart-warming plot.
