In early 2011, Rich Teachout quit his lucrative job to focus on creating a one-of-a-kind haunted attraction. He and his partner Janel dedicated every moment, ounce of energy, and dollar to making their "Scream Park" a reality. This is the story of their self-proclaimed madness and the industry, culture, and people who share it.

We purchased this documentary last year and have watched it multiple times! It shows a side of the haunt industry that we don't see on a regular basis. It shows a portion of what goes on behind-the-scenes of a haunted attraction and how it takes a strong, dedicated family to make it successful! If you are considering opening a haunt, you should watch this. Even those who currently own haunts can enjoy this because you can relate to it so well!

Whether you're a serious haunter or just a Halloween/haunt enthusiast, this documentary is worth a look! Monsters Wanted provides an excellent view inside the world of passionate haunt owners and a little insight into the industry itself, which is remarkably large and continuing to grow. You see the risks involved and some of the struggle, but the end result is quite heart-warming and helps to explain why haunters do what they do. I manage a small attraction myself and have bigger dreams for it. This movie, Rich and Janel's story, is definitely a huge inspiration! I can't wait to show it to the rest of my team.

This was great I have been working at a haunted house in NY for the past 5 yrs and my girl friend just did her 1st year and this movie is exactly what happens behind the scenes ......Awesome movie
