Enjoyable movie. Glad that they brought back the cast. Makes you think about old age and still being useful in our lives. It would be interesting to have a 3rd I want to know if that old lady died at the end. Plus I think it'd be hysterical to see Dev Patel as a new parent. He is already out there.

I never thought they could duplicate the magic of the first Marigold Hotel movie, and they didn't. This is an entirely different type of beautiful story. The story here is both faster and slower, with a deepening understanding of the characters and richer experiences. There's a delightful Bollywood bling to one plot line, but also timeworn elegance to other parts. Somehow, the old and the new blend to make a beautiful tapestry.

The first one ins the series was wonderful. This one was the reason follow-ons don't make it. It seemed tired, forced and ill conceived. The characters did not seem to evolve, even though they were relatively well acted. Not even good acting and a great cast could save this script.
