The use of antibiotics has exploded in the modern era. Found in everything from building materials to electrontics, household cleaners to farming equipment, these antibiotics have become so commonplace and overused that diseases are becoming resistant to them at an alarming rate. Weaving together the history of the development of these world-changing drugs with the moving and often tragic stories of citizens who have been affected by this restistance, Resistance seeks to inform, and hopefully change, how and when we use these powerful medicines.
