It isn't that I feel Asylum is cashing in on Alien Covenant, as even that could deserve some praise if well-executed, it is that those hacks seem to be complicit in downright mimicry and trickery. Clearly Asylum is taking advantage of average barely-literate Wal-Mart Americans by producing this drivel in the hopes that people will buy or rent it by mistake. So instead of Pacific Rim, we have Atlantic Rim, or Alien Covenant we have Alien Convergence; wow, there are so many examples of this. It makes Uwe Bole look like Milus, Kubrick, and Welles all in one. This is like Ponzi for movies. These movies are not even bad in the good way, where you can watch it and make fun of it. The movies are just bad, period, and with no great lines like "You're tearing me apart, Lisa" or any bizarre red dress suicide-hump sessions. Nope, just bad acting, bad writing, bad choices, bad story, bad everything.

I don't even have to watch this movie. It's by the Asylum so of course it's gonna be bad and a huge knock off of Alien: Covenant.

Using "Alien" as an attempt to fool people into buying it.
