About this movie

When a series of colossal earthquakes erupt along the San Andreas Fault, Los Angeles hovers on the brink of destruction. As the government orders a mass evacuation of the city, a few terrified survivors find themselves trapped and left behind. To make matters worse, a group of dangerous convicts who escaped from prison during the deadly tremors are also roaming the streets. Amidst the chaos, Calvin Hopkins is stranded in the disaster zone desperately searching for his girlfriend Ashley (Gina Holden, Fantastic Four, Saw 3D: The Final Chapter) and fearing for her life. As the city crumbles and the convicts start to take survivors hostage, the elite Air Force bombers are called. Led by LT. Grisham (Christopher Judge, The Dark Knight Rises) the clock is ticking to save as many lives as they can, rescue the hostages and for Calvin and Ashley to re-unite before L.A. collapses into rubble and flames. 2014 PLANETARY FILMS, LLC. 1980's "special" effects (and I use that term loosely), terrible acting and generally horrific as far as modern day movies go. Save your money.
