About this movie

When Detective Robbie Green is called in to investigate the roadside execution of his partner, Jason Pearson, he discovers at the crime scene an SD data card from a video camera. The card contains footage shot by two runaway teenagers, Rachel and AJ, who are making a documentary about the drug related death of Rachel’s sister. Robbie and new partner Detective Jane Lambert start to retrace the teen’s journey and soon the pair begin to uncover a trail of the dead that leads all the way back to police headquarters. 2013 Reckoning Productions Pty Ltd and ScreenWest Inc.

For an Aussie film, this is a decent thriller. I've seen a few US movies recently that were so cliche I had to turn them off, but this kept my attention all the way through. Jonathan Lapaglia gives a quality performance. Luke Hemsworth (another Hemsworth?!) is pretty good too, although would have liked to see more of his story in the film. I'm a fan of Viva Bianca too, she was in X with the young girl and also Scorned, which is quite good. Worth seeing.

A very simple story with very weak characters. Stuff happens, it's just nothing overly worth putting into a movie.
