Great uplifting story of underdogs and people who believe in you and rise up to victory. Didn't like all the swearing and use of God's name in vain that's why only a four compared to the movie about another amazing true story of the horse Secratariat. Both are uplifting movies and show how encouragement can help someone or a horse succeed in life. True stories both movies.

I have very few pleasures in life when it comes to watching movies as I lost ALL of them in a tragic accident, but when this movie is on, I'm glued to my television, even if I've got things to do elsewhere. My t.v. has no sound, so it's hooked to my stereo. The thunder of those races can be felt up to a block away, but I don't care! There's few movies can top this one. I cried, I laughed, and I felt the pain the jockey went through. My vote? From 1to10,, I rate it 10. Animals and actors.
