What a major disappointment... The director did a really poor job.. was wondering if he even read the book's. The director could of done a Harry potter type deal and split the movie up to make it magical and a winner... Absolute crap. Will never refer it to anyone.. piss poor and disgusted, someone else could of taken it on and made it unforgettable. I wasted over an hour of my life watching it.

It was ok I guess. 😒😔 You sorta know whats gonna happen next. I think the movie went with out a fixed storyline unlike the book and like someone else who reviewed, I think it is better of being a 2 part movie. Like Harry Potter Year 7

The silly gun scene in the early part where the elderly woman shoots the monster (and makes a point of having a 38 in her car) - really didn't fit the movie. Also though the lead actor, the young fella, didn't suit the role but overall not a bad movie. Some good scenes.
