Watched this beautifully made film at our local film festival this past year and loved it. Great story and very nicely acted. This story about a white young man entering a mostly African-Amercan college during a time of racial tension seems to be quite relatable to our current political divide. Believe this movie is somewhat based on the film creators own father. With a few actor many should recognize from other projects it has a great flow and is a very worthy indie film. 5 stars from me.

This is a great movie with a real-time message. An inspiring view of hard work and determination I've seen the movie several times and I enjoy it each time. A must see! I've added this film to my personal library.

This independent film tells the story of two men attending Meharry College, an all-black college, who do not like one another and are constantly competing for the top spot. They come from very different works but must find common ground in the decisiveness of the 60s. It is a beautifully told story based on real life events. It's an emotionally charged, beautiful story of how we may be different on the surface but once we dig deeper, life reveals we are all still the same. Just as relevant today as it was in the sixties.
