2 great actors, especially Hopkins. Great movie to watch. Makes you be grateful for the things you have. Heart felt to the core, in some aspects maybe towards the end, inspiring to a sense of what true living is honestly and honorably. And of course, makes a person yearn for that true love or makes you thankful if you've already found it. You won't be sorry.

Incredible! You'll never see another movie like "Meet Joe Black". This movie is one that will help you feel the depth and appreciation of life, death, love, hurt and understanding. Brad Pitt delivers the perfect depiction of the unknown----personified as Death. Pitt clearly comprehends and wields the confutation of Death entreating Life to uncover its true merit. Meanwhile, Anthony Hopkins conveys the exact solution to Death's conundrum by depicting the character of a truly good man, husband, father, and friend who appreciates and embraces the quality of true living. This movie will stay with you. It is beautiful. And you will regret not watching it from beginning to end again and again.

I have seen lots of movies. MEET JOE BLACK moved me. My heart was touched. I felt a gentle, wonderful and sensual Kindness displayed by the characters. May I come across another movie that impacts me so. Brad Pitt and Anthony Hopkins knew they had a winner and they did an EXCELLENT job!!!!!!
