Compared to the previous films, I'd say this one is a bit inferior to them. I kind of don't like the love and romance scenes of toothless and his new girlfriend. I feel it's kind of disgusting. Maybe I'm not that kind of into love, drama and romance films, so, I feel like it. All in all, it's kind of enjoyable if you're into romance films. Too bad that Hiccup grew up. If his grew up means it's the end of How To Train Your Dragon series, it's terrible because I want to see more.

I watch all the movies with my son, great storyline, along with lessons for growing minds. This one allowed the story of Toothless to come full circle, while giving Hiccup a similar closure with his own family/personal losses and opens the door to an adult future of greatness for both Hiccup and Toothless and the people/dragons who look up to them...leading them with heart and mind.

3 and a half out of 5. The final installment if this kind of did not feel like much and I felt bored with it. I may have to watch it again but it is a very pretty film with a fun opening and other cool sequences. It's scale is not like 1 but it has decent adventure and in one scene I think they used real water mixed with animation which was amazing. So all together may have to watch it again and it was an alright film to quite eye capturing at other times.
