The animation, in keeping with DC Animation tradition it seems, is sub-par and baring no resemblance to the styles of the games or comics. The story... Well, if you're a fan of Injustice you probably don't like fun stories anyhow, so yeah the writing is worse than that because it's an abbreviated form of it. Rushed and shoddy. I guess I managed to watch it though, so 3 stars.

Guy of Minimal Importance
An interesting premise which falls apart by the end. My knowledge of the Games/Comics is limited but I can tell a lot of the story is abbreviated or skipped. Moments which should matter like character death are just sort of glossed over, some characters are really annoying or unlikable, and the way it expresses its themes feels silly towards the last part of the movie. There are a couple good moments of character development, but overall it's pretty mediocre.

This movie is an "injustice" to it's source material. The 78 minute run time is waaaay too short to tell the story properly. I don't know why they tried to cram so much story into such a short time when they've made over 3 hour Batman animated movies that were more fleshed out. I know this is a preference, but the animation style isn't up to the usual DC animated standards. I had such high hopes for this movie, but was left disappointed.
