Worst movie ever I couldn't get over how bad this movie was. it was so terrible. Very few movies in my life have I walked away from without caring at all how it ended. Extremely disappointing because anchorman is a classic. This was horrible. Cheap laughs, overdone gags, less Christina Applegate, so much bad.
Awful movie Comes across as a fan dedication more than a sequel, same jokes from the first one which was hilarious but overdone to the point of annoyance, the director of this obviously didn't get why the first one was funny and just tells everyone to scream louder thinking that's where comedy comes from, I was so disappointed in this, I wasn't expecting much and got so much less
Best watched with fun ppl The movie is not bad but not brilliant either. I watched it with good friends and we made silly comments and laughter at each other's impersonation and reactions more than at the movie. It bought out the silly in us and that's a good thing. Brick is award winning!
There was a time before cable when the local anchorman reigned supreme....Enter the hard-hitting world of the 1970s local TV news, where Ron Burgundy (Will Ferrell) and his loyal Channel 3 New Team are San Diego's #1 rated news source. In Step Brothers, Ferrell plays Brennan Huff, a sporadically employed thirty-nine-year-old who lives with his mother, Nancy (Mary Steenburgen). Reilly plays Dale Doback, a terminally unemployed forty-year-old who lives with his father, Robert (Richard Jenkins). When Robert and Nancy marry and move in together, Brennan and Dale are forced to live with each other as step brothers. To pull it off, they must form an unlikely bond that maybe, just maybe, will finally get them out of the house. (c) 2008 Columbia Pictures Industries, Inc. and Beverly Blvd LLC. All Rights Reserved.
