About this movie

In 1752, Lenore Selwin was branded a Witch and burned at the stake. As she struggled against the flames she cursed the very land that her ashes were left to scatter upon. Some say she never left and that if you call her name when near her abandoned house, she will appear. When a group of students investigate the disappearance of a famous horror novelist in the same area, they are forced to confront nefarious forces in the woods on a weekend of sheer horror.

This film is horrible - I have no idea who they paid to seed two 5 star reviews, because this film is beyond awful. Horrible acting of a dismally boring story line, with terrible cinematography throughout. Why is there a 70's TV style screen wipe between scenes? Why do none of the characters in the historical shots have their hair done in period style? Does Chris Walken even know they used him reading The Raven (that's the only appearance he makes, he does not cameo on the screen) and how much was he paid? Whatever it was, it wasn't enough. This isn't even the type of bad to make you want to watch it again, it's just bad bad. Like buying a video game to discover all it is is unity assets thrown together in a cocophony of nothingness. If you watch this film for free, you have paid far, far too much.
