DON'T PAY ANY ATTENTION TO THE NEGATIVE NANCY'S IN THESE REVIEWS. If you saw Ant Man & enjoyed it & enjoy syfi fantasy type movies you will really love this one. It picks up and connects very, very well from the original one. I would of felt fine paying full theater price to see it, and I don't say that about many movie these days. Matter of fact I'll be going to buy it tomorrow so I can put right along side of Ant Man. If they keep the same direction as these 2 I hope they come out with a 3rd.

Its better than the first one, the first bad MCU film. Here, jokes are flat, unless you like seeing Paul Rud barfing playing cards, and little kids on the watch for "the po-po". The villains are dumb, which lets you know, the film going in the trash pretty quickly. Rud was much funnier in Civil War, Endgame, and Anchorman. He ought to stick to playing second banana. (it only works 70% of the time every time). All in all, its a fun movie and worth the watch, especially if you're into the genre. Its probably only the 5th worst Marvel movie, behind its predecessor, Black Panther, Ragnarök, and Captain Marvel.

Tried too hard to be funny rather than tell a compelling story. It's a superhero movie, so suspension of disbelief comes with the territory, but some things were just too much to overlook, like buildings being shrunken down to the size of toys and weighing next to nothing, but a punch from the wasp or ant-man will knock you out. The sight-gag of ant-man's suit malfunctioning got old. Weak villain besides. Can't win them all.
