This movie had a lot of hype and I expected a lot from it. I was disappointed. It is trying to show the light of Jesus in the world but I think it falls short in several areas. It puts to much tragedy in front of the viewer. Life is full of tragedy and sometimes it turns out this way but it left you more deflated that elevated at the end. The Christian message had a great explanation by pastor Vinny (Jesus got wacked!), best scene in the movie. But the message falls flat in the follow through. The baptism scene is disappointing, why go down to the river if all your going to do is poor a picture of water over the person?. I just felt there was a lot lacking for all the hype this movie had. It seems to be the norm for Christian movies these days, afraid to get into controversial theology so lets just do the "Jesus Saves" message and leave the deep stuff to whoever.

Honestly... With as many Christian movies I have seen, I have yet to find one with decent acting. The plots are always the same. Evil atheist turned good by faithful. The flow of the movie was horrible as well. But the acting is just so cheesy. Sometimes too over exaggerated. Can't there ever be a movie about being proud and Christian without making it a political statement as well? I guess not.
