Extremely pretentious; self-important; overall an embarrassing display of arrogance and self-back-patting by the filmmaker and his nutritionist partner. They giggled and gushed their way through a week of meals that took intense prep, planning, and knowledge, and culminated in a self-congratulatory meeting with a nutritionist where they bragged about their own efficacy and lamented the fact that others wouldn't be able to do what they did. They also got into sizist discussions, glamorizing how skinny they thought they'd be if they continued on the diet. This was a terrible excuse for a documentary. These people should be ashamed of their arrogance and lack of sensitivity. Self important, yikes! The bright spots were seeing actual people in neighborhoods doing cool work like gardening, and teaching kids how to cook. The central role the filmmaker and his partner played was absurd.

I wish everyone in the U.S. was required to watch this documentary!! Not only is the main story line really eye opening (living on a foodstamp budget) but the parts about the foods that our schools are feeding children across the nation is awesome! They interview lots of people that can provide FACTS about the points they are trying to make which is so cool! Love this film!! Def worth watching!!
