Mammootty (as Louis Pothen) is an advocate specialised in divorces yet he is more popular as a film critic, having a weekly show on a television channel. He is married to Nayantara (as Vasuki Iyer), a Kathakali artist. Theirs is an inter-religious marriage and they have been shunned by their respective families. They have a daughter named Chintha (Baby Ananya). Nayantara's nature is exactly opposite her husband's; she is always brooding, agitated and paranoid. This is because of a change in her nature recently as she was also a fun loving and jovial lady once. What follows is a dramatic exploration of Nayantara's recent past and how she gets over it._

Ruined the entire experience through the illogical final act. Otherwise a powerful reminder of the dangers of living alone.

One of the best performances from Mammookka in recent times. Nayantara also did a really good job. Superb screenplay.
