Kim Novak is wonderful in one of her earlier roles before she would be known in Vertigo. As a biopic, its not the best at accurately portraying the doomed actress Jeanne Eagles. As a recommendation, see Eagles herself in the film The Letter to get a better grasp at her talent and treat this film as a fictional study of a talented but spiraling actress, in this way Novak can be appreciated
