About this movie

Pregnant bodies are easier for society to accommodate. What follows birth is a different, messier story. Through new and honest ways, with a wide range of frank, difficult, revealing interviews, BREAST MILK follows the lives of breastfeeding women and addresses the many questions around breast milk.

The system is broken, and we already know why and how. What we need is hope, answers, solutions. This movie failed to provide these. Prospective new moms and women planning to breastfeed for the first time should avoid this movie if they wish to be encouraged in their efforts and to see a balanced view of breastfeeding.

This was interesting and showed many different views on breastfeeding. A lot of feminist thinking. I enjoyed watching, but I wouldn't recommend paying for it- try to find it for free!

Breastfeeding in public would dona great service. It would demystify the paps and show little children they are special milk jugs from the Creator and not objects of sex and lust. It is decent and wholesome and need not be hidden away. Shalom.
