About this movie

Writer director Taika Waititi, brings his signature style of humor and pathos to his latest film, JOJO RABBIT, a World War II satire that follows a lonely German boy whose world view is turned upside down when he discovers his single mother is hiding a young girl in their attic. Aided only by his idiotic imaginary friend, Adolf Hitler, Jojo must confront his naive patriotism.

Just as good the second time around. Very unique take on what life in Nazi Germany might've been like. Full of humour, as well as plenty of moments that make you stop and think. Wholeheartedly recommend!

JoJo rabbit is one of the only Oscar nominated films this year that I have generally watched and really enjoyed. This heartfelt story and a star-studded cast equals a lovely mixture of comedy and drama.

To sum up this wonderful film using an image and a quote... The image: A boy holding a key; a rabbit in a cage. The quote: The privilege of a lifetime is to become who you truly are.
