Although the animation is lively and nicely detailed, the characters designs are completley uninteresting, but they do look a little cute at the same time. As a comedy, I did chuckle a handful of times due to it's comical tone, some clever timing, and a screenplay for slapstick, but unfortunantley, These funny moments are absolutely forgettable, because these comedic bits have happened way too fast and most of the movie is blandly unfunny with worthless pop culture references and a line that gets old so fast ("who are we talking about?") the characters barely succeeds as sympathetic characters to root for but I barely rooted for them, because the characters are two dimensional and they barely did something useful. Especially the two characters called runt and fish. Runt is a paranoid melodramatic pig with such a round plump body and fish is not considered to be a supporting character; he does not do much, he is just used for comic relief and it fails. the songs for the soundtrack were a very good use for the film's storytelling and not to mention John Debney's music score may start out as nothing fresh (just a typical orchestral music for a family-friendly animated comedy), but when the alien invasion begins, the music throughout the whole movie burst's with dramatic excitement. When it comes to a movie about a character that no one trusts, the movie takes it very seriously, and was handled in a heavy way. The story moves way too fast. Sure, It does not over-stay it's welcome, and it would keep the kids engaged thoroughly, however the adults will find the pacing to be too fast, maybe it's because that the story was literally rushed and just wants to go for the happy ending. There is nothing innovative or meticulous about the story either, because the entire enterprise seems very thin and stale. And because of that, I was not entertained that much. The cast did a great job with their voice performances and each actor has the pitch-perfect voice for each character that fits the most accurate. The movie does have some very slick direction; teasing us into thinking what was going to happen, but the whole story is predictable. Just because that chicken little is not innovative and does not have the power to fully appeal the adults, doesn't mean that the kids won't like it. They will. It's hasty and cursory pace, and It's colorfully energetic animation will keep the children engaged and amused, but it is a little runt of a lackluster animated film with no entertainment for adults. recommended to be worth a solid rental.

The Emperor's New Groove was funny, but this is a CGI and lasts longer. Lets say the Emperor's New Groove was about 126 mins long and this one about 200 mins long. (One hour more) No offence but Runt didn't add much to the story exept the most inportant thing: Comedy and that was remotly it, nothing else. Chicken Little's girlfreind (possibly) (I can't remember her name) was pretty UGLY but she still was a nice charecter in personality. One movie that I grew up with. Plz make a sequel. 2022-2023

I don't get why this movie is underrated i mean both this movie and zootopia are the same as in both are talking animal movies with a good plot i mean c'mon if zootopia was good (probally because of it's characters and somesort than why not this) i know it has aliens and i think to critics that it ruins the entire chicken little story but to us we love it and yes zootopia has some adult referances and almost an adult-like plot/style to the movie but somehow they loved it and it's viewers as well so why not this
