About this movie

Rambabu (Venkatesh Daggubati) is a self-made man. An orphan who dropped out of school after 4th Grade. Rambabu has just about worked in every field he has come across. He is the owner of a small cable TV company, married to Jyothi (Meena) a sweet and typical housewife, with two daughters Anju (Kruthika) and Anu (Esther). Unexpectedly, their life turns upside down after his family commits a crime in defense for self-protection which brings them in a deep trouble with the police. Will Rambabu be able to manage and save his family when the culprit's mother, also the Inspector General of police suspects his family?

Ratings and reviews

After a long time watched an Indian movie where I had to really pay attention to understand what's happening..and that's a good thing. Although the main plot is quite straightforward, as in any good suspense story, the devil is in the details. But rest assured, the viewer will not be lost thanks to the superb storytelling and editing done in the movie. It was refreshing to see that even with a big star as the main character, the movie refrained from having the mandatory fight scene at the end (not that i don't like a good fight in a movie:)). I have always enjoyed Mr. Venkatesh's acting and it was no different here. Although i felt the comedy in the movie was not up to his standards. There are better suspense/ thriller movies out there but i would still give this movie 5 stars as it is one of the better movies i have seen in recent times and would recommend it to anyone who does not want to feel like they wasted 2 hrs of their life watching a dumb movie.
