At its core, The Man With The Golden Gun is a very good film with a very intriguing plot, introducing a villian that overshadows 007, Francisco Scaramanga. However, The Man With The Golden Gun fails to capture the thrills of the pre title sequence until the ending "mano a mano" showdown between the two, opting instead to focus on a mixture between serious and comedic in between, a staple of the Roger Moore era. Still, it is one of my favorites from his era.

Roger Moore will always be James Bond to me. This movie is perhaps my favourite of his because of the setting and the pure extravagance of Scaramanga. The man has his own island!

Now this is easily my favourite bond movie ever. Roger Moore was the perfect Bond hands down. And this movie has a perfect blend of everything. It's even got a really good song by lulu. 10 out of 10 for me.........
