A man-made virus engineered to resuscitate the dead has escaped the lab. This potent hybrid strain is turning infected humans into raging monsters intent on killing other humans. As it rapidly spreads, a group of uninfected survivors take refuge in an isolated house unaware the deadly virus has already reached them. As they fend off hoards of marauding zombies, they must make life-or-death decisions within the group as the merciless metamorphic process begins to take hold and the U.S. military gear up to torch the entire area in a desperate attempt to stop the contagion.
