Piloted by an ultra-hip Martian, the cosmic crew ends up in a sleepy Midwestern town. Unfortunately, it's Halloween night and the citizens mistake these spaced invaders for harmless trick-or-treaters. Instead of the global invasion they planned on, these misguided Martians bungle their way into a series of madcap misadventures! I think you either get this movie or you don't. For someone with a deep knowledge of, and affection for, classic sci-fi (not to mention Warner brothers cartoons), there is much to love in this sweet, funny movie. There should be more movies like this one being made... And more movies by Patrick Read Johnson.

Totally stupid fun! If you can look past the absurdness, there is a lot of humor in it. So many great one-liners too. "They're giddy with fear!" and "Who died and left you in charge? Captain Bipto"

I remember loving this movie as a kid. You gotta love the corny jokes and alien puns. "Prepare to die, Earth scum!"
