Very clever. Joyful and bubbly one second, then soulful and disturbing the next. Coming from two men ( Kenneth Branagh and Ridley Scott ) who have forgotten more about film making than most men will ever know. The cast speaks for itself ( I won't break it down, I'll be here all night ). Definitely worth a watch.

Whilst revolutionary when written 84 years ago, the story doesn't seem to sit right in present day, the concept of a life for a life and vigilantism being justified directly contradict with the values and nature of the hero. Still a classic tale and a pleasure to see it receive the full Hollywood treatment

Not very good!! The characters are not introduced very well to the audience while the character Herculus poirot takes 15 minutes to be introduced!! The murder happens when the audience is struggling to get to know all the names and relation. It is a pity that even all big names and good acting could not compensate for the very weak script. By the way How on the earth Poirot realizes all the facts without a research like a seer who makes a prophesy!! Any how, not recommended at all unless you are really into the names!!
