About this movie

Twenty-five years after a streak of brutal murders shocked the quiet town of Woodsboro, a terrifying new killer resurrects the Ghostface mask. As the deaths mount, Woodsboro's new targets must seek help from the survivors of the original Ghostface attacks. Now, only Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell), former sheriff Dewey Riley (David Arquette), and reporter Gale Weathers (Courteney Cox) can find a way to stop the killer when everyone is a suspect.

This movie is bad in it's execution. It treats it's audience as it was stupid. The plot, I know it's nonsensical yet this one felt as a mixture of Riverdale with Netflix's Elite but with stabbing. The original characters were dragged to the mud and had no reason to be there. The dialogue and the new main characters are unlikable and the scene where they make a parallel of Star wars 8 was horrible as if it was moving the audience. Not a good scream movie. Good to leave on the b.g.

I went to see this movie in the theater with my buddy, who's a big fan, for some reason. It was nothing but a bunch of cussing and stabbing people who are to stupid to defend themselves. I hate slasher movies. The reason is they're basically only there to show you what happens when stupid people do stupid things and die because because. These are also for people who get a rise out of seeing a knife penetrate someone's body. I'm not saying I'm not human, I'm saying I watch Criminal Minds, which has less of a desensitizing effect, and the police actually usefull (on an FBI level). In this movie, the police are utterly useless, which makes no sense.

The first hour or so was pretty decent. Had high hopes for the movie. Then the final thirty came along and ruined everything. The most ridiculous turn of events that only extremely young kids could enjoy. I mean seriously, how does one get stabbed twenty times and still struggle and talk. Try this game while you watch: Do a shot everytime someone drops a gun. You'll end the movie with alcohol poisoning! 🙃
