The Footage Her Family Does Not Want You To See. - This footage, allegedly smuggled out of an Auckland police department in New Zealand, shows the last known videos entries of Madi Owens and her friend Jenna Edelman, who skipped school one day and boarded a bus to the countryside, never to be seen again. This salvaged footage has been assembled to create a narrative structure in an attempt to understand what happened to these girls.

I've never watched one of these before so that may affect my review for the better or worse--but: I thought this was pretty interesting. People are complaining they thought it was boring, but unless these kids are budding filmmakers, and just carrying around the camera, why would it be like a "real" movie? Their conversation was pretty much natural, including some really funny parts, and the emotions also seemed authentic. When the creepy dude showed up (won't spoil) there was real tension. And to be honest, if it had ended all perfectly, I would be really REALLY suspicious about the whole "found footage" thing, so even that was OK. I guess I have to watch more of these but I would say if watching this one resulted in me WANTING to watch more, then it did a good job!

Have just watched this and am truly baffeled! More like a btec media entry than anything. Complete crud. Don't waste your money or time. Could have made a better film myself on my phone.

Theres no story line, actresses are excruciating. Don't waste your time.
