About this movie

More than 13 million American kids will be bullied this year, making it the most common form of violence experienced by young people in the nation. BULLY, one of the most buzzed about documentaries in recent years, brings a human scale to this startling statistic, offering an intimate, unflinching look at how bullying has touched five kids and their families. Filmed over the course of the 2009/2010 school year, BULLY opens a window onto the pained and often endangered lives of bullied kids, revealing a problem that transcends geographic, racial, ethnic and economic borders.

I really loved this movie .I really do wish that school boards would make every school out there watch this .my son got expelled from school for standing up for his sister when no one else would .sad to say it cause a fight .but if there had been some or more to have stood up for her from being bullied the fight would have never broke out .children can b cruel .but its our place as parents to teach our children right and wrong.I was very upset with my son for fighting .yet he wasn't punished

I love in a biggish city and the fight against bullying is in full swing here. In these others towns it's shameful to watch the adults in charge brush it off as part of growing up. I cried a lot, and I smiled some too but mostly I am ashamed that there are still places in this developed country where bullying is ignored. Those that ignore it are the worst bullies of all.
