Jennifer Lawrence did one remotely badass thing in the entire movie. Its
90% a school your cousin forced you into on how to properly get raped. I
never thought I'd see so much in a movie. Got it on redbox and even that
like $1.50 for it on there was a waste of money. Some people liked it. I'm
not a fan of rape so..

I thought overall, the movie was fantastic. Jennifer Lawrence did a spectacular job playing her character and fulfilling the story. The only problem I had was with Jeremy Irons and his character. Though Jeremy Irons is an amazing actor with a ton of experience under his belt, his Russian character is simply not believable as Russian. It takes away from the movie taking place in Russia and puts you into a sort of hybrid Brtish-Russian spy movie. I felt like he was trying, but he could of tried a little harder than that, because I know he is capable of doing at least a decent accent.

Good movie.... but a tad drawn out. If you are looking for a fast-paced effort like Salt... this is not it. If you are looking for a more subdued approach to a cloak and dagger type of movie... then this is it. However, this has some fairly revealing scenes in it that I felt did not really add to the story-line as well as some over the top violence. Again, only my opinion and overall they did not detract significantly against the overall impression of the movie. In reality... I would give it a 3.6... so I just rounded up. Why not higher... the cons of the movie are like all movies of this type... could have improved the characters more... could have developed the story better... could have added in some more action... but again... it is what it is. It is worth the watch for sure.
