Jamaican garrison culture sees inner-urban areas divided along political lines. With that comes violent gang culture. Derrick dreams of representing his country at the Olympics as a boxer and getting out of the ghetto. But the gym he needs to train in is located in an opposition garrison. For Derrick the equation is simple: in order to improve his quality of life he will have to risk everything.
