Not a great film, but well worth the £2.94. Nixon could have been portrayed as evil crook, but Hopkins plays him as a sad and basically well-meaning man who comes a cropper as a result of a little too much real politik.

Brilliant film. I think one needs to be a political animal to understand this. Hopkins is brilliant as Nixon. Favourite line in the film "The President can bomb anybody he likes!!"

Wooden. Awful. Not worth the cash. Wrote a full review but it disappeared, not going to waste my further time on it. Don't bother.
