Zehn Jahre haben sich die Geschwister Milo und Maggie nicht mehr gesehen, obwohl sie vor dem Tod ihres Vaters unzertrennlich waren. Während Maggie tief in einer Ehekrise steckt, ist Milo beruflich unzufrieden, da er als Schauspieler einfach nicht Fuß fassen kann. Um ihr Glück wiederzufinden und die Probleme in den Griff zu bekommen, müssen die Geschwister wieder ein Team werden.

I've seen so many sentimental comedies, that it's hard for me to find a truly original story. This one is no exception: apart from the two twins idea, it resembles other stories about family relationships I've already seen before. But who cares: the script is very well-written, without smudges, it tackles serious issues with taste, no character is a parody, and the actors are so brilliant and into their characters, that you can suspend your disbelief for an hour and a half. Just brilliant. I bought the DVD, to watch it again in its original version.

It's a bittersweet film that made cry and laugh; I don't understand the negative ratings...
