About this movie

Elliot Goldner directs this British horror following a team of specialists from the Vatican who are drawn to a remote West Country church by reports of mysterious occurrences in the area. Though Father Crellick (Luke Neal) has video footage of items apparently being moved around inside the church by supernatural forces, Deacon (Gordon Kennedy) and Father Mark Amidon (Aidan McArdle) are sceptics by nature and want more conclusive evidence. They duly set up more cameras inside the ancient building, but are the scratching noises coming from inside the walls a source of greater concern? - 2013 Devil Lies Beneath Ltd. All Rights Reserved.

I enjoyed it mostly, the atmosphere is good and has a suggestive build up to bad things but the lighting isn't quite right at certain points in the movie, making it hard to see what's going on, and in one or two instances impossible, though whether this is intentional is anyone's guess. The biggest problem I had with it was the ending though, big let down and really really stupid. This is worth a rental, and shows the potential those involved have to make a really good film someday, this isn't that film though.

Another shaky camera film that had some potential, which is a shame really. This film had plenty of things going for it but chose not to use these. Instead the film goes for character building, this wouldn't of been too bad apart from the fact that only one character seems to get built upon. I wish i could say more about this film and try to be more positive, but this film has far too much padding and not enough atmosphere.

A pretty terrible film. The characters were annoying, so much so that I honestly couldn't care if they survived the film. The story-line was weak, with a pretty terrible ending.
