The tragic story of Jayne Mansfield’s life This independent low budget film is an interesting and touching tell of Jayne Mansfield’s life, the voluptuous bombshell that tragically died too young. It shows the typical cope mechanism of some Hollywood stars of that era; alcoholism, pill taking, drugs and extra-marital affairs to alleviate the pressures of packed work schedules to make a living for the entire family. Very creative and entertaining. I enjoyed it very much.

After all the talk about this film and all the negativity brought forward by Jayne Mansfield Online Fan Club Owner Kim Rosenthal I was very doubtful. I realized that any bad talk about this film is jealousy or vengeance. Hailey Heisick gives a career turning performance as Jayne and even though she doesn't resemble her closely she's done her homework. Adrian Gorbaliuk as Mickey is perfect and Mike Funk as Matt Cimber and Rocco Palmieri as Sam Brody give wonderful performances. I would recommend this film to anyone not just a Jayne Mansfield Fan!.

I became a huge fan of Jayne Mansfield thanks to Frank Ferruccio. Seeing his book, Diamonds to Dust play out on screen was a huge personal moment of pride for me knowing how much this project meant to him. Telling Jayne's story as only he could, the movie was a true testament of the respect and love he has for her and her life & career. While the actors may not be well known, Hailey Heisick truly embodied Jayne and made me thoroughly enjoy every scene. If you THINK you know Jayne's story you shoud watch Diamonds to Dust. And if you dont know it, you should definitely watch it.
